Sorry for the recent silence. I've been trying to get this set up properly so Joyce and I can use it more effectively. She should post something any day now... *crosses fingers*
As you can see by the new photo on the right, we were officially engaged April 26, 2008. Almost exactly 8 months before our wedding day. We went to Lake Louise with some friends and had fondue at the hotel. I'll let her tell you all about it when she wants.
So many things still to do for the big day. Invites, cake, photographer, attires, wedding bands, honeymoon, and most importantly a place to live after honeymoon. My advice to you? Keep it simple. Do a destination or cruise wedding if you want. Keep it to like, 20 or 30 people. Keep it within family and close friends. If you can.
Already I'm getting the feeling that, gee, if only I'd known earlier I woulda done things differently. The thing is, a wedding is something you can do only once in your life, so if something doesn't go exactly like you'd hoped, well, too bad.
